Home built Hardwood wedge for Meade LX90 SCT
Product Code: Used Item
Homebuilt hardwood wedge, designed for use with a Meade LX90 SCT telescope, this has been used for around 5 years with great success by myself and was built by my father, it is set at 52 degrees.
It was fitted to my concrete pier with three metal threaded studs, and adjustment was made by sitting the wedge on the studs with nuts underneath to adjust Altitude, and nuts on top to fasten, and the Azimuth was adjusted by the half moon slots in the wedge and moving by hand, the centre hole is so it can be fitted to the Meade tripod for use that way...
This can also be use daily on the Meade tripod using the M12 centre hole for fastening....with the threaded bolt on the tripod.
The first picture shows it when new fitted to my pier, the ready as as it now after 5 years use, and apart from some discolouration its as good as new.
The last picture shown it being used with my Meade SCT
